A bright and bold development in Italy benefits from our aluminium building systems, which have helped to provide an efficient energy performance alongside a highly attractive appearance.
I Colori dell’Adda, which translates as ‘The Colours of Adda’, is a colourful residential and commercial complex in the heart of Trezzo sull’Adda in Milan.
Part of the Trezzo’s ongoing urbanisation, the project is divided into two striking-looking blocks, which have a strong geometric look that enhances the bold yellows, reds, and oranges that coat I Colori dell’Adda’s façade.
The stylish buildings, connected by a pedestrian path and courtyard, offer a range of attractive features: the two-storey West Block is ideal for office space and overlooks Viale Mazzini, while the residential North block, which covers four floors, sits along Via Medici.
The highly contemporary design doesn’t stop at the blocks’ unique appearance – sustainability is also at the heart of this project, with a range of technological solutions bringing environmental benefits. These include the AluK products used throughout the development: the 67 & 77 window and door series, which both offer exceptional thermal performance, our innovative SC170TT sliding door system, and SL50 curtain walling, which was chosen for the mullion and transom façades.
I Colori dell’Adda, which was devised by AM Projects, has an Energy Class A Certification, demonstrating the project’s environmental credentials – combining beautiful design with excellent performance.
