The tallest skyscraper in South Korea has been unveiled.
KPF’s Lotte World Tower in Seoul is an incredible 555 metres tall, which makes it the fifth tallest skyscraper in the world and the tallest on the Korean peninsula.
Showcasing a sleek white façade with silver glass, the Lotte World Tower is ‘reflective of Korean artistry’, complete with a viewing gallery described by the architects as the ‘world’s highest glass-bottomed observation deck’.
Across 123 storeys, the skyscraper also features the world’s fastest elevator, office and retail space, apartments, and even a seven star hotel.
The Lotte World Tower has good company in the top ten tallest towers in the world, including the Burj Khalifa, One World Trade Center, and Taipei 101.
